Walleye fishing continues to be very good in The deep waters near Green Island and Rattle Snake. There is a large school of walleye in this area they are wandering from just South of Green Island to near the Kidney. I am marking lots of emerald shiners in the area and this school of walleye and perch seem very content to hang around. I expect they will stay here until we get a blow. The bonus is nice boxes of Yellow Perch and Walleye from the same areas. So the combo fishing - Double Dipping walleye & perch has been excellent. Bigger walleye are showing up on the deep water reefs near Kelly's and Middle Island both U.S. and Canadian waters. How ever the numbers are not their yet. This will change any day. The water temperature is nearing 70 degrees, it has dropped almost 10 degrees in the last several weeks.
