Capt. Randy Beach Daytona Beach, Florida Area

Welcome to Hook-N-Reds Guide Service.
Hi, I’m Capt. Randy Beach and my team and I have more than 25 years experience fishing the local waters of New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater and Oak Hill for the world-famous Redfish, Trout, Snook and seasonal Tarpon. We are located in beautiful New Smyrna Beach, Florida; roughly one hour east of Orlando and 20 minutes south of Daytona Beach. Whether using spinning tackle or fly fishing, Hook-N-Reds Guide Service will take you where the fish are!

Our area has one of the greatest redfish fisheries found anywhere, which is why we are called the“Redfish Capital of the World.”

Our Redfish are resident fish that are here year round, allowing non-stop access to the powerful fight and drag screaming action that they exhibit

Our Spotted Sea Trout fishery is just as impressive. We have some of the largest trout found anywhere in the state of Florida. In many places throughout Florida anglers can catch a 1-3 pound trout, but here we have them weighing in at upwards of 15 pounds or higher. In addition, more Spotted Sea Trout world records have been broken in our regional area than anywhere else in the world. Once our trout get over 6 pounds we label them as Gator Trout. The true Gator Trout is one of the smartest fish out there, and catching one that’s 10 pounds or more will be a once in a lifetime fishing experience.

Snook fishing is also great here.
We target them in Ponce Inlet, the New Smyrna Beach and Edgewater backwaters of the Indian River, and around a multitude of docks and bridge along the Intracoastal Waterway.
I like to call dock and bridge fishing, “combat fishing,” not only due to the fight you’ll have landing a Snook, but also challenge of being able to keep them out of the structure so they don’t break your line.
